Dance is a crucial part of Kianna’s everyday life. She began dancing Ballet very young at age 4 For Kianna, Dance was a way for her to fruitfully express herself when words could not. Senior Year she was given the privilege of being a member of the Dance Team Board, given the responsibilities of being a team leader and a versatile choreographer. She continues to frequently choreograph for CAMS High School, providing support as an outside instructor to the dance department. She continues to train in multiple styles of dance including ballet, jazz, and modern at El Camino College while studying to earn a BA in Graphic Design. She is involved in the Downtown Los Angeles Community working as a dance instructor for young girls ages 3-8 and 9-14 at Aliso Pico Parks and Recreation for the last 3 years. Dance has drastically improved her confidence as a leader, as well as igniting a spark in youth as an enthusiastic teacher. She hopes to inspire the same confidence and joy working with the students of Dancing with RKDC.
