Myrna Velasco - Yogalates
Myrna has been a student of movement and yoga for over 15 years. She is dedicated to teaching strength through alignment, and comfort in extension of the body and mind. Myrna practices yoga to continue her curiosity within as well as amongst. Her lineage is though the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. She works with Pranayama technique to build heat and to cool the body down during the asana practice. In teaching, she focuses on the body's structural alignment to create space and flexibility while building strength in the student's foundation. She deals in dualities, and loves it! Myrna pairs the yin, or the slow yoga, with power flow yoga (yang yoga) for a practice that cultivates focus and balance.
