Formerly known as X-Factor Dance Project, RKDC has created a new elevated class that will enhance performance skills and creativity while dancing at a higher level in preparation for performances in and around the South Bay area. Students will study ballet, lyrical, contemporary and modern dance while also learning how to choreograph and improve performance skills. At this time, there is no audition process for this group however, this class is NOT for beginners and students will be evaluated during the first class of the session. The instructor will let you know if your child needs more training before continuing. Students should have at least 2 years of dance training in either ballet, contemporary or both. Concurrent enrollment in at least one other RKDC class is strongly recommended. Most of our Jr. Company dancers take an additional 1-3 classes per week. Multiple performance opportunities available.
Attire: lyrical/contemporary shoes or "foot undies".
Additional Attire: Parents will be provided with a list of additional attire students will need for performances & rehearsals.
